Rejects

Each time I create something, I’m left critiquing it. I’ll look back on this post and find mistakes. It’s what I do. Call me an imperfect perfectionist. I haven’t put my 10,000 hours into anything, so everything comes out slightly… wrong. I’ve never been proud of my work, no matter how many people tell me it’s great or that they are inspired and wish they were more creative. When I look at the internet, I know I’m nowhere near the level I could be.

And I’m tired of it. Not tired of the flaws, but tired of seeing others producing content that shows only perfection. In reality, nothing is perfect. It’s not feasible to strive for it. It only causes undue stress, constantly comparing ourselves to others and criticizing ourselves. So I decided not to worry so much. To JUST create. No matter the outcome.

I started this website to show you lovelies that there are still some Bob Rosses in a sea of imitation Martha Stewarts. I’m not sure at this point what all the content will be or how often. But thanks for being here 😉
